Oddly Green: Rare and interesting plants for rare and interesting people.
We are a small, local business based in Strawberry Plains, TN, specializing in the cultivation of unique tropical houseplants. Because we believe everyone has a rare and interesting side, we offer a diverse selection at various price points, ensuring there is something special for every collector.
Our focus is entirely on the health and quality of our plants. Every specimen we sell is nurtured in our home-based greenhouse until it meets our strict standards and is fully ready to thrive in your space.
Beyond cultivation, our goal is to support the wider plant community. By choosing not to carry decorative pots or everyday accessories, we actively encourage our customers to complete their displays by shopping with local makers and businesses. We also know that many collectors continuously experiment with their own soil blends, and we understand the struggle of sourcing premium foundational materials. As a service to fellow enthusiasts, we provide hard-to-find staples like Orchiata bark at a fair price, so we can all spend less time hunting and more time growing.
Every plant Ready for Sale is healthy, fully rooted, and well-established in its current container—meaning no recent transplants. To ensure you receive a thriving plant ready for its new home, most are grown in at least a 4-inch pot. We do not sell bare-root plants, unrooted cuttings, or in-vitro tissue cultures.
Available quantities and prices are subject to change without notice.
